Restorative care focuses on helping to maintain optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial function. We focus on the client’s potential, not their limitations. Helping clients do things for themselves rather than “doing it for them” helps the client achieve short and long-term goals. This can help to improve the client’s self-image and self-esteem. Some example goals of restorative care are to promote activity, mobility and independence with daily living, increase muscle strength and balance, and prevent contractures and pressure ulcers.
Every person can benefit from restorative care. When there is a need for hospice care, we work in conjunction with hospice agencies to provide the best care needed.
Restorative Home Care employs primarily CNA’s (Certified Nursing Assistants) and CBRF (Community Based Residential Facility) certified caregivers. All of our caregivers have been trained to safely perform complex and important tasks. They are trained to watch for and report changes in their clients’ condition to the Nurse Care Manager, as well as work in conjunction with other care providers, such as Physical Therapists or Occupational Therapists, to keep the therapy plan on track.
Our caregivers are caring, trustworthy, kind, honest, compassionate, knowledgeable and skillful in their field.

Restorative Home Care is a helpful group of people who help other people who cannot do things in their homes or apartments that they used to do themselves because of injuries or “just growing old”. They clean for you, take you to doctor visits, grocery shopping, washing clothes, and just about anything that you need them to do. They are kind and very helpful. This group, I would say, are very helpful in everything you want done in your home or apartment. I rate them an E for Excellence in their work.
